The Government of Punjab has launched the Negahban Rashan Relief Program. Under this program, around 80 lakh low-income families across Punjab will receive one month’s free ration at their doorsteps during Ramadan. In this regard, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that until the poor and deserving people do not get the happiness of Ramadan, we should not sit quietly.
CM Punjab has announced that different government officials will establish different committees in the tehsils of each district through which poor and deserving families will be searched. Because many poor and deserving families have not been included in the previously conducted NSER survey. Therefore, Chief Minister Punjab has decided to survey these committees. So that deserving low-income families can identified and provided free Rashan under the Negahban Rashan Relief Program during Ramadan.

حکومت پنجاب نے نگہبان راشن ریلیف پروگرام کا آغاز کر دیا ہے۔ اس پروگرام کے تحت پنجاب بھر میں 80 لاکھ کے قریب کم آمدنی والے خاندانوں کو رمضان المبارک کے دوران ایک ماہ کا مفت راشن ان کی دہلیز پر ملے گا۔ اس حوالے سے وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کا کہنا تھا کہ جب تک غریب اور مستحق افراد کو رمضان کی خوشیاں نہیں ملیں گی ہمیں خاموش نہیں بیٹھنا چاہیے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ مختلف سرکاری افسران ہر ضلع کی تحصیلوں میں مختلف کمیٹیاں قائم کریں گے جن کے ذریعے غریب اور مستحق خاندانوں کی تلاش کی جائے گی۔ کیونکہ بہت سے غریب اور مستحق خاندانوں کو پہلے کرائے گئے NSER سروے میں شامل نہیں کیا گیا ہے۔ اس لیے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے ان کمیٹیوں کا سروے کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ تاکہ مستحق کم آمدنی والے خاندانوں کی نشاندہی کی جا سکے اور انہیں رمضان کے دوران نگران راشن ریلیف پروگرام کے تحت مفت راشن فراہم کیا جا سکے۔
Negahban Relief Package 2024
Under the Negahban Rashan relief package, CM Punjab has announced that any family eligible for the Negahban program will receive a free Rashan for the entire month of Ramadan. The Negahban survey was started for registration in the Negahban Rashan Relief Program by the Punjab government. For the Negahban survey, the Punjab government has appointed polio worker teams in every tehsil, going door to door to survey people and identify deserving and poor families.
