The Government of Punjab has launched the Negahban Rashan Relief Program. Under this program, around 80 lakh low-income families across Punjab will receive one month’s free ration at their doorsteps during Ramadan. CM Punjab has announced that different government officials will establish different committees in the tehsils of each district through which poor and deserving families will be searched. وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ مختلف سرکاری افسران ہر ضلع کی تحصیلوں میں مختلف کمیٹیاں قائم کریں گے جن کے ذریعے غریب اور مستحق خاندانوں کی تلاش کی جائے گی۔ کیونکہ بہت سے غریب اور مستحق خاندانوں کو پہلے کرائے گئے NSER سروے میں شامل نہیں کیا گیا ہے۔ اس لیے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے ان کمیٹیوں کا سروے کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ تاکہ مستحق کم آمدنی والے خاندانوں کی نشاندہی کی جا سکے اور انہیں رمضان کے دوران نگران راشن ریلیف پروگرام کے تحت مفت راشن فراہم کیا جا سکے۔
