Punjab Solar Program By CM Punjab
The Chief Minister of Punjab is starting the Roshan Gharana Scheme for the poor and deserving families living in Punjab. Under this program, the government will provide free solar panels to families that use 500 electricity units.
The Chief Minister of Punjab has announced that 90 percent of the payment will be provided by the government to eligible families in the Roshan Gharana scheme. In contrast, 10 percent has to be returned to the eligible families within five years.
The government of Punjab has announced that if you qualify, you will have to pay a 25 percent down payment to the National Bank of Pakistan and Bank of Punjab without any interest rate. People who do not have internet access can join the Punjab Solar Panel Program using mobile SMS service. The Punjab government has provided a code, 8800. To register through SMS, enter the 13-digit National Identity Card number on your mobile phone and send it to 8800. In this way, you will be able to register in the Punjab Roshan Gharana Scheme.
Eligibility Criteria For the Roshan Gharana Program
The Chief Minister of Punjab has set eligibility criteria for the Punjab Solar Panel Program. You will be provided with solar panels that meet these criteria.

- The monthly income of the applicant should be around 50 thousand.
- You work in any government or private organization.
- The applicant should not be a bank defaulter of any government bank.

Distribution Plan For Punjab Solar Program
It has been announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab that solar panels will be provided to about 45 lakh households in the Punjab Roshan Gharana program. It was announced by the government that a 500-watt solar panel system will provided to consumers consuming up to 100 units of electricity. Eligible households using 200 to 300 units will be supplied with 1100-watt solar panels. Household users using 300 to 400 units will get 1650-watt solar panels. The Punjab government announced in the meeting held on July 9 that the distribution of solar panels will start in October and November.
