Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has decided to introduce the CM Punjab Kisan Card to provide various facilities to farmers. The government of Punjab will provide all basic facilities under the Kisan Card so that farmers can adopt better farming methods and contribute more capital to the country.

The government registration for the Kisan card is still ongoing. So, people who want to register themselves should do so before 15 August. The last date has been set by the government as 15 August. Farmers who register before this date will be provided with a CM Kisan Card, and all facilities will be provided.

Kisan Card New Registration Procedure

If you want to apply for a Punjab Kisan Card, then the procedure below is provided for you. Through this, you can easily get a Kisan card sitting at home. To register for a Kisan Card, you must first have a registered mobile SIM and ID card. Apart from this, it is necessary that your mobile SIM has a balance of at least 50 rupees. Then, you will be able to register for a Punjab Kisan Card.

  • To register on a Kisan card, write PKC in the message box on your mobile and give space.
  • Then enter your National Identity Card Number and send this SMS to 8070.
  • If you are eligible for the Maryam Nawaz Kisan Card, then you will be provided SMS confirmation of eligibility for the Kisan Card by PITB in a few days. After which, you will able to get a CM Kisan card.

New Update Getting Kisan Card Started on 14 August

The government of Punjab has brought out a new update regarding the provision of the Kisan Card. The award for the Kisan Card has been announced by Maryam Nawaz. Bank of Punjab will start issuing Kisan Cards to all registered farmers from August 14. These farmer cards are being provided to those farmers who have completed their registration in June. The verification of these farmers has been completed, and a confirmation SMS has been sent to them. So after receiving the confirmation SMS, contact your nearest bank in Punjab and get a Kisan Card.

Benefits Of CM Kisan Card

Various facilities will be provided by the Punjab government to the farmers who get Kisan cards. The complete details of what these facilities are are provided below which are detailed below.

  • The government will provide a loan of up to 1.5 lakh rupees in easy installments to Kisan card holders.
  • A 30 percent discount on fertilizer and pesticides will offered to Kisan cardholders.
  • The Punjab Government will provide the farmers with training through the Modern Agriculture Center, which will enable them to adopt new methods of agriculture.
  • Apart from this, the farmers with Kisan Cards will also get a discount on the purchase of seeds

Eligibility Criteria Of Punjab Kisan Card

The government of Punjab has set eligibility criteria for the provision of a Kisan Card. The eligibility criteria are provided below:

  • Kisan cards will be provided to farmers who own agricultural land from one acre to 12.5 acres and have it registered in the Agricultural Land Record Center.
  • A farmer getting a Kisan Card must have an original National Identity Card and a registered mobile SIM.
  • To get the CM Punjab Kisan Card, you must go to the Agricultural Land Record Center, register all your land, and then register.
