The Benazir Income Support Program has launched the Benazir Nashonuma Program under the Federal Government. The main objective of the Nashonuma program is to provide essential medicines and food to pregnant women and help them deliver a healthy baby.
The Nashonuma program has been specially designed keeping in view the increasing trend of polio disease in Pakistan to provide all the vitamins and nutrition to pregnant women. So that children can fight against polio disease and be born healthy.
Most children born in Pakistan suffer from malnutrition, so the government has to provide complete treatment and check-up facilities to women during pregnancy. Financial assistance of 2000 rupees is provided monthly, and when the child is born, it is for their care and food.

Nashonuma Sahulat Centers
Under the Nashonuma program provides pregnant women and mothers of newborn children with stipends and additional food quarterly. The scope of the Nashonuma program has now been spread over more than 70 districts, and the Government of Pakistan has established 478 facility centers to provide facilities to pregnant women.
Every month, the Benazir Income Support Program conducts a check-up of the women benefiting from the BISP Nashonuma Program and provides them with special supplementary food. BISP Nashonuma Program Registration
The process of joining the Nashonuma program is very easy. To register for this program, you must complete your registration by following the instructions below.
- First, you must get a check-up from the Gynecologists at your nearest government hospital and get all the reports compiled.
- Along with the reports, you have to visit the Bezier Income Support Program office, where registration will be done based on your reports.
- After registration, you will be given a card based on which you will be permanently treated.
- Based on this card, you will get your monthly check-up at convenience centers and will also be able to get special food.

Nashonuma Program Payment
Under the program, breastfeeding mothers are provided a quarterly stipend for their children, if the child is a boy, Rs 2,000 is provided quarterly. Apart from this, if the child is a girl child, she is provided with a subsidy of Rs.2500 per month from the government so that the children can be properly cared for and given basic food and facilities.

To enroll in the program, you must meet the criteria below to be able to participate in the program.
- The program will include women already receiving money from BISP and part of the Benazir Income Support Programme.
- You must have an original identity card to join the Benazir Income Support Program.
- You can register yourself in one of the categories below. If you are a pregnant woman, you will register yourself as a pregnant woman. And if you are a Breastfeeding mother, you will register your children in the Nashonuma program. To get basic nutrition and good food.
