According to the Chief Minister of Punjab’s instructions, such poor people will be provided loans in easy installments under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme for the construction and decoration of their houses.

Aim of CM Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program
Under the Apna Chhat Apna Ghar program, funds will be provided by Chief Minister Punjab to construct affordable houses and apartments for one lakh residents of Punjab. With the help of the Apna Chhat Apna Ghar scheme, the low-income sections of the society will be provided with better facilities so that they too can fit into the society and create significant integration.
With the help of this program, a loan of 15 lakh rupees will be provided to one lakh families in four years, with the help of which they can build their own houses. You have to repay this loan to the government within seven years, for which monthly installments will be fixed by the government. All houses should be constructed under the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency so that better houses can be constructed, and these houses will be constructed like modern housing societies.

Terms Ans Condirions For Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme
You must fulfill the following conditions to join the Apna Chhat Apna Ghar scheme. Then, you will be provided funds for the construction of your houses.
- The applicant should be a resident of Punjab.
- If you live in an urban area, you must have a plot of five marles, and a person living in a rural area must have a plot of 10 marles.
- The applicant should not be affiliated with any government or semi-government organization.
- A maximum loan amount of only 1.5 million will be provided to the applicant.
- The applicant should not be an employee of any government or non-government bank.
- The applicant’s monthly income should be more than 50 thousand rupees.
