Punjab 3KW Solar System Scheme
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has decided to restart the 3KW solar system scheme phase II keeping in view the rising inflation and heavy electricity bills. Earlier, the Punjab government had started phase one of the Punjab solar system for consumers using 100 units.

Punjab Solar System Phase II
In the recent meeting of the provincial cabinet, the Minister of Punjab decided to provide a 3KW solar system to eligible households using up to 200 units of electricity across Punjab. Under the Punjab Solar System Scheme, about 50,000 solar panels will be distributed free of cost across Punjab. Ten billion rupees have approved for this scheme.
The Government of Punjab launched this scheme through the Chief Minister Roshan Gharana Programme. The Minister of Punjab restarted the registration of the 3KW solar system scheme. Under this scheme, all solar devices and solar plates will provides to consumers at home. The program aims to provide all people with free access to electricity.

3KW Solar System Scheme Registration Starts Again
If the Chief Minister of Punjab wants to participate in solar system project registration, the government has provided the complete procedure for registration. Follow this method to register and qualify.
- Go to your nearest Bank of Punjab branch with the necessary documents for registration.
- Get the Punjab Solar Panel Scheme registration form from the concerned representative on entering this bank.
- Enter and fill in all the required information in the registration form.
- Review the registration form and return it to the representative.
- After the form is submitted, the Punjab Government will review all applications, and eligible persons will receive an SMS.
- Selected representatives who meet the eligibility criteria will be notified of eligibility through SMS or call.
- Eligible households will provided with solar panels after which their installation will done by the government.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria have set for getting a free solar system under the Punjab Solar Panel Scheme. If you meet the eligibility criteria, then you will admitted to this program.
- Applicant must be a resident of Punjab to join the scheme.
- The head of the household must have a National Identity Card. Without an ID card, you will be disqualified.
- If the applicant is a resident of Punjab but residing in any other province, he will also registered in the scheme.
- The scheme will cover those persons whose monthly electricity bill is up to 200 units.
- The total income of the family should be less than 50 thousand rupees
- The applicant should not employed in any government institution.
- All the applicant’s electricity bills have cleared.
