Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has decided to start the Himmat card for disabled people from poor and deserving families. With this, all disabled people can get quarterly instalments of Rs 10500 at home. The government is taking this initiative to provide financial assistance so disabled people can access all the basic facilities.

Therefore, if you have a disabled person, get him registered for a Himmat Card as soon as possible and if he is eligible, the Punjab government will provide financial assistance of 10500 to this person every quarter. Purpose OF Himmat Card

Himmatgad is a package for disabled people from the government of Punjab that will provide various services. The first of these services is the provision of a stipend every quarter to poor and deserving disabled persons. This stipend has set at 10500 rupees by the government. If the government announces to provide any kind of services to disabled people later, then the disabled people holding the Hamat card will be the first to benefit from it. So there are disabled persons residing in Punjab who participate in Himat card registration as soon as possible and become eligible to get both Himat Cards and Quarterly Wazifa.

Eligibility Criteria

If a person wants a Himmat ATM Card, the government sets eligibility criteria, which are provided below. So read it and then register.

  • Applicant must be a disabled person certified by the Punjab Social Welfare Authority.
  • The applicant is disabled and unable to do any work.
  • Any government or private institution should not employ PWD.
  • The applicant, a disabled person, should not have received any grant of any kind from any BISP Zakat Fund PSPA and Baitul Mal recently.
  • Applicant’s poverty score PMT issued by PISP should be less than 37
  • Applicant’s basic data should be updated in DPMIS.

Registration Procedure For Himmat ATM Card

The Punjab government has started registering for a Hemat card, and it has also introduced a portal, using which disabled people can register for a Hamat Card at home. Follow the procedure below for Hamat Card Registration.

  • To register for Hamat Card, you first open the DPMIS website
  • Then click on PWD Services Center and register by filling out the registered form.
  • After opening the registration portal, enter your personal, medical, educational, and employment information.
  • After providing all the information, you must go to the nearest THQ Hospital for a medical appointment.
  • After which, a complete medical examination will done, and an MSO certificate will be provided to you.
  • Then, you have to get approval on this certificate from the MS of nearby hospitals and go to the District Deputy Direct Issue Certificate.
  • After which, your verification will completed, and you will issued disability certificate.

Himmat Cards Distribution Plan and Date

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced the selection of 6,500 people for the Himmat card. All these people will be given Himmat cards as ATM cards. Register as soon as possible to receive quarterly instalments through Himat Guard. The government has allocated a 30 percent quota for women in the Himat card. Therefore, women with disabilities can also get assistance by registering for it. The Punjab government has also announced the date regarding the distribution of Hemat ATM cards, and September 15 has been fixed as the date.
